During an EA earnings report, CEO Andrew Wilson talked about BioWare's next game, Anthem. He said a bunch of stuff typical of a CEO ("stunning and ambitious," "something entirely new" for games), but he also mentioned that EA "will open new ways for fans to join the community and play early, enabling [it] to shape and refine the game with their input and feedback."
While it does sound like some kind of Early Access-style launch, Wilson could be referring to pre-release tests. We run down all of the details in today's episode of GameSpot Daily, but we also have a bunch of other stories coming at you in 30 minutes or less.
And while we wait for more Red Dead Redemption 2 news, it sounds like there's another crossover with Grand Theft Auto 5 just around the corner. Rockstar said players can look for a "lost relic from the frontier" later this year, though didn't give any more details past that. The first "lost relic" was the Double-Action Revolver which, after completing a headshot challenge, can be unlocked for future use in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Speaking of reports, Capcom revealed that it has "two major titles" planned for release this fiscal year (which ends on March 31, 2019). Now, Mega Man 11 is scheduled to release later this year, though it's unclear if it's one of these two games. I'm personally hoping that the Resident Evil 2 remake is one of them. We give our best educated guesses in the video above.
Lastly, we have a story on Blizzard raising money for breast cancer research. The Overwatch developer released a new skin for the healer, Mercy. The skin comes in at a hefty $15 price tag, but all of the proceeds go to charity. Blizzard already committed a minimum $250,000 donation, but it will update us if that amount is surpassed.
