Netflix: The Best New Movies & TV Shows Streaming In November 2018

Here's all the shows, originals, and films that are coming to the streaming platform in November, and our top recommendations, including F is for Family Season 3, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.

We're now nearing the end of the month, and that means a whole bunch of new movies, TV series, and originals are now available or coming to Netflix in November. And like every month, there is a plethora of new content to choose from, and at times, it can be tough to pick out what's worth watching. Don't worry, we have you covered with a few solid selections for you to check out, and there's plenty more just around the corner for December.

As of November 16, the Coen Brothers have brought their unique voice to Netflix with The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. In this anthology series, the Coen Brothers tell six different stories which all take place in the Old West. There are some familiar faces in each of these stories, including James Franco, Liam Neeson, and Clancy Brown.

If you're a fan of the classic works of iconic writer/director Orson Welles, then you'll be excited to learn that one of his later films, The Other Side of the Wind, has finally been completed, and it's now available on Netflix as of November 2. Much like most of Welles' later films, it's a bit surreal and experimental. The movie centers around a Hollywood director who comes out of exile to work on an innovative new motion picture.

Finally, a little bit of the Christmas spirit came to Netflix with the November 22 release of The Christmas Chronicles. Kurt Russell stars as Santa Claus, who finds two kids trying to catch him in the act of delivering presents to children across the world. From there, the two children and Santa go on a crazy adventure. Sadly, at no point in time does Santa have to head to New York--which is now a prison--to save the President's daughter.
