Bad Company 2 story follows the same 3 characters as in the first one so yea the story will be similar to that of bfbc1

kinda a dumb question but will this game have a kinda lighthearted, funny story like BF:BC or will it be more like Battlefield 2 where there isn't an actual story where you play as a character but rather just online and offline modes?

I dont ever remember about the first one being on the PC so its kinda daft releasing a second one without the first one oh but it does look really good

Battlefield 2 was the best game I've played, both tactical and fast paced, I didnt think the first one was all too good from the demo and 1943 was way too short, but hopefully this one reunites me with the Battlefield series

I dont think anyone should ever say COD or BF is better than the other, just be glade that they are different and get both. COD is close quarters non stop run and gun, BF is exactly what the name says, full on battlefields and big scale warfare. I love that they are different, i personally love to play both

i think its guna top modern warfare 2. realy i own MW2 and my 360 is a mw2 version of the 360 elite. so my xbox looks awsome and stuff i love it but anyways mw2 i think is all about the cinematics. thats the only reason. just because it looks so intinse in some of the moments of the campaighn. the actual features and the core of the game isnt all that great to me. no vehicles. no destruction. no customizeable characters. nuthin

i am actually quite glad this got the M rating. I think it will intensify the game. Especially the campaign. which we unfortunately haven't seen enough of.

@Everyone - To the newcomers first: This is obviously going to be a battle between CoD and BF. Some will like BF over CoD, and vice versa. But let's cut to the chase and tie some loose ends. Camping in BF doesn't work well unless you can snipe. You like looking outside of a window in a deserted building? Too bad all the structures are destructible in BF, unlike CoD. So goodbye camping familiar corners. Vehicles are included. With weapons. Customizable classes with customizable weapon attachments. Elaborate as CoD, if not more. The graphics. Delicious. Gameplay: Subjective, yet the best damn fun you'll ever have. Maps: Epic. Huge landscaping for long or short range warfare. There's just so much to say, but this sums up a few questions I'm sure. Enjoy the anticipation.

@LOVERPS3 dude, i have nothing against arabs, i just said that i want another army accept from the US and RU, like in BF2 there were US and MEC, all i said i dont like this game mode because you will probably shoot your own because there will be 2 teams of US and 2 teams of RU, i want 4 diff teams, US, RU and another two like MEC and another one.... sory for my bad english....

I really like the smoke effects in this game, some of the best I've ever seen, really good lighting in general.

Finally a game that can pull me away from battlefield 2142

lets just put it like this if you cry a but camping in mw2 then just figure out how it will be in this game

The more I see of this game, the more of my heart I give away! ;) Definitely a new contender for best Multiplayer! CoD vs Halo vs L4D vs Battlefield!!! That is at least for the 360....

wait the light tank is only for squad deathmatch or is it yet unamed? If they took out the light tank from the other game modes I'm gonna be soooo mad. It isn't in the Beta.

dude idk if anyone knows but EA offically said they are "looking to take back the modern FPS with BFBC2 from CoD" also "we are going after CoD with BFBC2" (quote unqoute) so yea just a heads up to piss some CoD fans off and add a little more hype to the BFBC2 fans

@AlphaWolF_J It's a great game but not the best game I've ever played. (by the way before you bash me I've been playing the beta since the beginning and it's a lot of fun but not the best.)

I have been playing this Beta for a few weeks now and even at this early stage it is so much fun to play ,unfortunately the BETA is mostly limited to infantry/ Tanks/ quad bikes/ humvees/ and UAV'S at the moment as the full vehicle roster consists of so much more,EG apache gunships/ BlackHawks/ Speed boats/ Armoured cars/ anti aircraft vehcles/ more tanks. But that dont stop it from already being the best multiplayer experiance on any console ive had to date & ive played almost all the best FPS games around even some of the past battlfeild games on the pc and this does not dissapoint . Most of the cod players that played this said that they find mw2 bland on their return to it after playing BFBC2 on the beta forums and i have to agree having played that professionally in a clan THIS is such a better game in all aspects. Teamwork ,good objectives, great building destruction,awesome awards and unlocks,and massive maps with up to 24 players online on ( DEDICATED SERVERS ) not a crappy p2p system where the host has an unfair advantage in regards of 0 lag like mw2. Get a good team in this and its extremely gratifying playing tacticaly combine a good driver and a good gunner in a vehicle and you can reap massive destruction racking up kills leveling buildings on ememy players

BF franchise has come a looong way since BF1942 and omg playing BC2 BETA was just amazing cannot wait till Demo then the final release. Purely Amazing so far.

Sweetest game ever! BF2 still running, I hope this will be up for replacing it since 2005.

You can't like shooters and not Battlefield multiplayer, it's absolute mayhem!

This game looks beyond sick, the first one had the most realistic/widespread variety of sounds and explosions which is what first drew me into the first one. This one looks more realistic than MW2 but more fun? we'll just have to wait till March 2 wont we?
