I don't have this game on PC and I don't own a tablet, so I can't play this mode. They should've made this playable on consoles too
I had absolutely no idea what was going on for most of that video. I tried commander mode for a while on xbox one and hardly any of those options presented themselves. Pretty much the only effective thing I could do was UAV scans near objectives. I just gave up and decided it's probably best to leave it to someone who knows what they are doing.
i wish they would take that HUGE heavy enemy presence nearby window off the middle of the players screen, annoying. also, make it so there has to be 2 commanders at the same time, not one sided if you dont have one.

Oh... so the supply crate can tele-frag a person? XD
Indeed, I would say here if there is anything that Battlefield could concentrate more on, it's the strategic map-wide gameplay.
Anything to have the franchise going away from the usual squad- or individual-based tactics.
IDK about you but i play to WIN!!! If you care about KDR go play some COD or other noob POS game.
beautifully said.. this needs to be everyones attitude in bf. game has changed because the players have, and not for the better. i remember when people used to work as a team waaay back when.
Unless they want points, most people won't listen to commander because is there is no real incentive to actually win rounds of battlefield. People play to get KDR or just for fun, most people don't play for the objectives in my experience. If they added ranked matchmaking or something this might change.
the ineptitude of those dull unassuming snipers make Tomahawk kills comically easier than should be.... i got 7 kills in one Tomahawk once....
Oh and it's better if you get to know the map and how things can evolve by playing as a soldier. That way you'll know what positions are the most strategic ones and which ones to attack first.
I tried commander mode once in Siege of Shanghai and I was lucky that most people were following my commands, attacking where needed, defending where needed and larger squads reinforcing the smaller ones, It really can make a big difference, the opposite side had no commander and they were only able to hold a single position for any significant amount of time. So if there is a decent commander and people actually playing as team it makes a big difference.
This looks cool. Too bad nobody follows orders, even if doing so gives you more XP.
People don't really listen to the commander and it's a shame.

@Baconelite very true. that's why I don't play commander any more.
Wow, that's a really good explanation of Commander. I'm honestly too scared to try it out, but maybe now I will. As frustrating as all the bugs are, this really is one of my favorite games.
soldier: comander i am under heavy bugs, they are everywhere, what´s your orders?
