Avengers: Endgame Trailer 3 Breakdown And What You Might Have Missed

Marvel has released a new trailer to coincide with Avengers: Endgame tickets going on sale. It includes brand-new footage, reunions, and more Thanos! Let's break down the new Marvel trailer scene by scene.

The release date for Avengers: Endgame is fast approaching; it debuts in theaters on April 26. With just a few weeks to go, Marvel has continued to release new promotional materials. Just recently, we got some new posters that revealed the fate of two characters post-Infinity War, and now we've gotten a "special look" trailer that includes quite a bit of new footage.

As always when there are new scenes from an upcoming Marvel movie, we like to break down what we're seeing. In the video above, you can check out some of the minor details you might have missed and a rundown on what it all means. You can also check out our written trailer breakdown.

Tickets are now on sale, so you can lock in your date to see the movie as soon as possible. You'll likely want to see it sooner than later if you're spoiler-averse; this movie marks the end of Phase 3 and the Infinity Saga, as it's now known, so there's sure to be a lot of major developments. We can all make guesses about who might die, but as we note in the breakdown video, there are still basic questions about the structure of the movie, like whether the Avengers have some kind of showdown with Thanos early on. One thing that seems to be locked down is the movie's runtime: it'll be a hair over three hours long.

This trailer also gives away a surprising number of reunions that you might have expected us to have to wait for the movie to see. Steve Rogers and Tony Stark have a moment, while the latter also gets back together with Pepper Potts, for instance. This might be one of the last new bits of footage released publicly before Endgame arrives in theaters. That said, this week will feature appearances from numerous Marvel stars on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where we might see new footage. We also got a private look at 10 minutes of exclusive footage, and we learned a number of things--including how much time has passed since Infinity War.
