Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed Odyssey had the best launch week of any current-gen game in the series. Through a combination of physical and digital sales plus microtransactions, the PS4, Xbox One, and PC game beat out Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin's Creed Unity, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, and Assassin's Creed: Origins. Meanwhile, Odyssey was also made available to those in Google's Project Stream test.
