Assassin's Creed Odyssey Extended Fate Of Atlantis Gameplay

Here's an extended look at some of the gameplay for Assassin's Creed Odyssey: The Fate Of Atlantis, the second major DLC expansion.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey has had plenty of mythological references already--from the Minotaur to Medusa--but the upcoming Fate of Atlantis DLC takes the legends of Greece to new heights. In the very first episode of this three part series, Kassanda/Alexios journey to the Elysium Fields where they are able to meet and talk to the very gods themselves.

The gameplay above shows what's in store in this new setting--including new Legendary loot and a brand-new tier of unlockable skills. For more, be sure to check out our hands-on impressions from having played through the entire 8-10 hour DLC.

Fate of Atlantis comes after the first DLC, The Legacy of the First Blade. That allowed you to meet Darius, the son of Xerxes. Darius is notable for being an early assassin who wields the original hidden blade. Both of these DLCs are included in the game's season pass, which also nets you Assassin's Creed III Remastered, which was recently released.

Funny how EA is obsessed with profits and having "constant revenue streams" with individual games, but with all their money and programmers and developers, they just can't figure out they need to start off with a GOOD game that people WANT to play and continue to spend money on. How that simple fact is constantly lost on that rotten company is beyond me.

EA could learn a lot from Ubisoft and AC Odyssey in particular. This game is so spectacular, a constant joy to play, that I want more content. The DLCs don't just give you more story, they give you more armor, more weapons and way cooler abilities. Each DLC has enough new stuff in them to make it almost feel like you're playing a slightly different game. Ubisoft outdid themselves with the DLC's from Odyssey. THIS is how to make a game players want to spend additional money on.

I have gotten so much bang for the buck with this game. Ubi has done a great job with the last AC.

Tried to re-visit AC3 from my season pass. But just cant go back now - even remastered, it is so clunky.

@agramonte: Absolutely agree 100%. And right now the Season Pass is only $24.99 on PS Store. That is an incredible deal. 4 additional DLC's.
