Spring is here, and although the weather might be getting nicer, there's still plenty reason to stay in and watch Amazon Prime. April sees a host of new movies, TV, and original content arriving on the service, and we have a few suggestions for you to check out next month.
A Quiet Place was one of 2018's best horror movies and it comes to Prime in April. This terrifyingly tense film was directed by John Krasinski, best known for his roles in The Office and the recent Amazon series Jack Ryan, and he stars alongside Emily Blunt as parents trying to survive in a post-apocalypse monster-infested world.
Another great recent movie is Mid90s. Jonah Hill has already proved himself as one of the best, most versatile actors around, but Mid90s shows he is also a talented director. It's a nostalgia trip for 90s skater kids, and follows a teenage skater who escapes his troubled home life by hanging out at his local skate shop and park.
In terms of TV, a couple of Prime originals return for new seasons. The hilarious superhero spoof The Tick is back with a second batch of episodes, as Tick and Arthur are joined by a wave of new superheroes to help them defend the city. The crime thriller Bosch returns for Season 5 too, with the determined homicide detective facing the reality that he might have got the wrong person convicted for his mother's murder.
