The episode starts off with the sudden death of Salty in his sleep, and Pepper is heartbroken. This leads Desiree to argue that Pepper should live with her sister Rita (BAD IDEA) because she lost everyone.
Meanwhile, Stanley visits Jimmy in jail, and he eyes Jimmy's special hands and suggests a way to raise the money for an attorney.
Back at the Freak Show, Maggie tells Desiree that every freak is in danger, but she needs time and help to fix everything. Desiree realizes that the pair may have to do with the disappearances of the freaks.
We flash forward to1962 at Briarcliff Manor, and are treated to a great cameo from Sister Mary Eunice — The character portrayed by Lily Rabe in the second season, Asylum.
