18 Minutes of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Gameplay

Borderlands is known for silly missions so when a goblin asks a Stabbomancer to seduce a dark wizard using love and non-violence, you kind of know how it ends. We also catch up with fantasy Claptrap.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a standalone Borderlands adventure that builds on the tabletop roleplaying themes of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. In this gameplay clip, you'll see the critical-hit-focused Stabbomancer embark on two side quests in the optional Mount Craw zone. In one quest, they are asked by a goblin to seduce a dark wizard and retrieve a weapon through love and non-violence. Obviously it doesn't go well. In the second side quest we catch up with a fantasy version of Claptrap who is about as Claptrap as ever and focused on sending you on a fetch quest.

Gearbox's Wonderlands departs from core Borderlands titles in a few ways although we didn't get to experience many of those in this demo. Those changes include a character creator, the ability to mix and match skill trees, and a tabletop-looking overworld. We did find several high level guns though, including a shotgun that fired exploding waves and an SMG that spat elemental ice at a massive rate of fire. Wonderlands also replaces grenades with magic spells and has a larger focus on a dedicated class of melee weapons. Combat involves maximizing damage between guns, spells, and melee attacks.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is out on March 25 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC on the Epic Games Store. It will come to other PC platforms later in 2022.
