Is it just me or has this video made me avoid the game at all costs? It looks like an online watch dogs. And we all know how watch dogs went down. A piece of crap.
Guess ill be waiting for Black Desert instead.
I've seen enough...I'll pass
@louixiii: Its like MGS
Any word on dedicated servers?
@hushed_kasket: What do you mean by that exactly? Isn't it like an MMO and everything runs on their servers?
wow! no head shot one kill...
Comparing to the 2013 trailer, this is incredibly downgraded... The lighting, textures, level details...Ubisoft doesn't learn with their mistakes....
You need 2 magz to kill enemy, if you aim for head one might be enough.
This game already has a nickname: MAJOR DOWNGRADE EVER SEEN.
From the very beginning of this game three years ago Ubisoft has been touting how this game can be played SOLO, yet I heard No mention of it in this review in fact just the opposite the reviewer made it sounds more like if you don't play it in a group you stand no chance against enemies who will out flank you and kill you. I HAD been looking forward to this game but as the years have rolled by waiting for it I've seen this game deteriorate bit by bit to the point I no longer have any interest in it. SAD I'll mark this down as yet another Ubisoft screw up that list is getting longer and longer with each new release. They just DON'T known how to do a AAA title any longer .
@Snapdragon1: Not out to convince you to like the game, but I have read in other places that there's balancing based on the number of people in your group. So with your team of 3, you're going to be seeing a lot more enemies than when you run solo.
@gamedelay: I hope you can prove citation for those claims because I'd certainly like to read them as I'm sure others would as well. Oh and you couldn't convince me to like or dislike any game I think for myself.
@Snapdragon1: Glad you're such an independent thinker (???), but I found a source:
June 26, 2015 article on the PlayStation blog, where Executive Producer Fred Rundqvist says the game scales to solo or party play.
@gamedelay: Thanks for the link it was very interesting. I would however liked if he had been more detailed in how a solo player surives the darkzone. His comment was most ambiguous.
"If you’re playing solo you won’t get totally overwhelmed — enemies scale to give a challenge to just one person or to a larger team.”
@Snapdragon1: It has single player. Next time you have a simple question ask the internet.
It looks like they havent changed how OP pistols were from the Alpha. Hopefully they tone them down a little before the beta otherwise people are gonna scream when they get 2-3 shotted by a pistol.
@handheldhimself: It looks like it's heavily based on how far you are from the opponent, the pistol wasn't doing as much damage at all when shooting someone at a far distance, the reason the pistol seems to do more is because they were using the rifle when at a distance while the pistol was used up close.
@putaspongeon: During the Alpha the pistol was out damaging sniper rifles and marksman rifles at all ranges except extreme ranges where the sniper rifle was the only gun able to even hit them. It was very common to see a pistol 1-2 shot an enemy where it would take 3-4 headshots to take them out with a decent sniper rifle.
I stopped using my pistol because it was just too strong in the darkzone letting me level people in 2 shots with no risk at all because of its high damage and fire rate.
@handheldhimself: Well that's been fixed.
@putaspongeon: Not only that, but at least in this footage, the people he was shooting with a pistol were also being shot by his two friends at the same time.
Then again, couldn't see the numbers, and I don't feel too much of a need to fight for this game before I've had a chance to try it. Looking forward to the beta, though.
@gamedelay: I'm in a weird gray, the game seems somewhat interesting and I likely would have bought it in 2015 or 2014 if it was this good (between the godly releases like witcher and disgaea) but this year is far too impressive, but because it's an online focused game, I feel like when I buy it on discount a bit later, it might not be as relevant/fun anymore due to less users.
@handheldhimself: It's ridiculous how many times you have to shoot to kill with the rifle.
