Surprisingly good substitue for the old arcade video pinball machines

User Rating: 6.8 | Video Pinball 2600
Atari did this title "right" when they created it, lending fairly accurate physics to a blip on your TV screen.

Considering the time this was created, the game was impressive for home use and had a lot of replay value. Although there were only a small handful of arcade video pin machines, Atari found it worthwhile to create their own home version, and managed a good effort at that.

The playing field and sounds, of course incredibly minimalist as they all were "back-in-the-day", were rudimentary but did their jobs well in this title.

If you break out [pardon the pun] the ol' 2600 or 7800 and have this title in your inventory, pop it in for a fun blast from the past. Or you could just fire it up on an emulator and avoid the hassle with the cables :) But only if you own the game cartridge ROM, of course!
