No No No to RPG

Unless RPG stands for Rocket Assisted Grenade, apparently I have no use for it. Don't get me wrong, I love anime. I watch Animax, I download the occasional hard to find anime episodes over the net, I spend time perusing sankakucomplex so I really was looking forward to this game.

And I do love the artwork. Seriously! But the game? Move a dot to a point and click okay? Let it pretend it is rolling dice or making moves for another user (the computer). Oh give me a break!

I really wanted to like this game. And I will go back and try playing it again, with a guide in hand, just to see if I can develop some enthusiasm here. That happened for both Resistance (which I became extremely fond of) and Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (which I became fairly fond of). So I may come back here and change this review someday. But I doubt it.

I shipped this game and Eternal Sonata from overseas since they had very good reviews. Both left me feeling like a fish with a hook in its mouth.

If you love RPG (Role Playing Games) with strategy aspects, they may work fine for you. I am not the reviewer to guide you. But if you are a gamer who likes some action and suspense, I don't think you will be very pleased with this title.
