Unreal Tournament... where shall I start...

I first heard about this game in 1999... I was 5 years old and my 16 year old brother got a copy of the game of a friend, which his friend burned for him. The first game we owned illegally cracked.

It always astounded me, I burned his burned copy once, but the cd went bad in 2002. I got Anthology in 2007 and since then, im back into the massive fragging.

The graphics are pretty crisp, and the game runs very well. There are some D9D8 and 9 renderers out there, and some enhanced OpenGL renderers which make the dynamic lighting which the engine introduced, look very neat.

The music and sounds fit the game really well, and all the chunks flying everywhere makes it the goriest game of the late 90s. The techno like music really emphasises the late 90s futuristic feel that this game brought to us.

The multiplayer is really underrated. A lot of people dont even know where it is located. Even though there arent as many players online on UT as before, theres still a very large community keeping this game healthy and alive.

Pick it up somewhere, it aint expensive. Even if it costs 10 bucks, its worth every penny.
