Nothing compared to it's original PC port, but still worth a rent if you want to see a bit of Unreal.

User Rating: 7 | Unreal Tournament PS2
This is hard to review, mainly because I love the Unreal series but don't think this is anywhere as good as the PC version. It's got the same gameplay, but lacks all the characters, maps and modes that the PC version packs. Basically, it's very watered down it doesn't even come close to the Dreamcast version of the game. However, that said, it's rather fun if you have a multi-tap and a few friends round to play it with. It might not be perfect, but if for whatever reason you can't or don't want to play the original PC version, I can only recommend this as a last resort.

A lot of the maps are missing, some of my favourites included, and the amount of characters to select from are poor. Fortunately, there are some good gameplay modes to choose from, and bots are provided to fill in those gaps you're missing in the multiplayer.

Basically, if you see this game VERY cheap, it's worth picking up if you've never played Unreal Tournament to get a brief feel to the game, but don't judge the series by this one game as it's nothing compared to it's legendary PC port.
