With so many shooting games out only few of them stand out and make Deathmatches a great time. Unreal Championship is one of those few games that really stands out and places you in another one of Epics' great franchises. This game starts as any other, but quickly grows on you the second you start blowing things up, things that when dead gloriously fly around the arena in a bloody mess of ragdoll physics. The sounds are very refined and with the great rock and techno soundtrack really allow you to experience this futuristic death sport like no other.
Gameplay is smooth and very easy to pick up allowing you to enjoy the game instead of having to look at your controller every five minutes. The AI is top notch, allowing you to give them commands and they evan pick up things they need such as ammo or health. Xbox Live is one of the best and comprehensive online services to date, and when you play Unreal Championship online, you will see why.
This one should leave those lonely nights in a bloody deathmatch against your friends. Hopefully online.
