Great story, great game types, great multiplayer with friends!

Unreal Tournament is one of the finest arena based Blood Sport games since "Quake III arena"(PC) and "Quake III Revoloution"(PS2). Like in fighting games you choose characters that you hae unlocked during story mode.... most of those you fight you can play as in the future. The game has amazing graphics, good sound effects and a brilliant Music score to keep you in the action. There are different types of the game to play like Nali slaughter: You kill these strange slaves for points while facing the opposition. Then you get your typical types of play... CTF, Team deathmatch, Deathmatch that sort of thing. Though i thought it was a shame about the lack of firearms you get.... though the melee makes up for that as you get up close and personal against your foes. There are three different type of character.... you get the Powerful but slower characters to play as, the in betweens which have good strength and stamina and the fast and powerful ones with least chance of survival in a huge gunfight! I personally like the ones who are fast and powerful as you can evade if in danger. Doing multiplayer is great fun.... i havn't played online but i have split-screen! CTF is the best that you could possibly play. You only carry three fire-arms each with their own set ammo types.... You have your side-arm which mainly remains on a charge which means you dont have to pick up any ammo for it.... these guns are very basic yet handy if you have no other fire-arm. Then you have your Explosive weapons which are marked my rocket or grenade packs which will be lying around in the arena. You have rocket launchers, Rip-jacks (Personal favourite... spinning and boucing blades which go all over the show), flak cannons and BIO rifles. Then it comes to your energy or Rifle weapons, like Sniper rifles, Shock rifles that sort of thing. There is an automated chat system that allows you to taunt, attract and annoy foes with a couple of cool phrases.
You have the Killer phrases: These phrases are cocky remarks after just completely murdering someone!
Victim Phrases: Make a quick comback comment if you've just been killed or owned!
Other phrases: Random mixed comments like swearing and taunts.
Orders (on team based games only): like on capture the flag such things like "Get the Flag", "Defend our Flag", "Cover Me" and many more orders to issue your team!
The game has many different extras hidden in the options menu:
You can change the announcer voice to the person on MORTAL KOMBAT and you can change the content setting like the GORE and the MATURE COMMENTS that are allowed to be said.
Overall: This is a very classy game that reminds you of the times you played Quake III (if you ever did)
