Uniracers places fun and accessibility over complicated gameplay, which is both a good and bad thing.
Though the presentation is excellent, the gameplay is not quite as polished. The game is mainly divided up into fast paced racing action and crazy stunt levels. The racing is quite enjoyable, the levels fly by at an exceeding fast clip and send you upside down and far into the air. to do stunts The most enjoyable thing about Uniracers is how easy it is to play and how crazy and intense the game is. The two-player races are incredibly enjoyable and addictive.
. However, once you get past the initial thrills and craziness, you might be a bit disappointed by some of the problems in the gameplay. First off, though there are a lot of levels, none of them feel significantly different. Second, and more pressing, the game moves so fast that it is nearly impossible to see what is coming up ahead of you or when you are going to hit the ground while doing a stunt. This inability to see whats coming greatly contributes to part of the thrill of being completely out of control, but it makes the game dependent on luck at least as much, if not more so than skill. This is the biggest problem with the game and it makes it hard to take too seriously. .
Uniracers is a great game too add to your Snes collection. The presentation is faster and more thrilling than anything else available, the gameplay is accessible to anybody and the multiplayer is enjoyable. As long as you don't let its problems annoy you too much, Uniracers is a game you can return to again and again and enjoy.
