Uncharted 2: Among Thieves does everything Drake's Fortune did, but 100x better.
Story (10/10): One of the biggest improvements of this game. Among Theives takes on the storytelling pace of the first game, but somehow makes it feel much more epic. Game-play is much longer this time around as well (12-18hrs.) Amazing multi-player, trophies and 5 different difficulties should get you coming back for more. The only downfall you may ask? This game ends!
Sound (10/10): As with the first game, this is an amazing sounding game. Not much has seen any major changes - except for some new cast members, but you can trust me when I say that is a wonderfull thing. In-game voice-overs are much better in this game and can be pretty laugh-out-loud funny at times.
Game-play (9.8/10): Alas, Uncharted 2 isnt completely perfect. Camera issues still make the game extremely frustrating at times, and the cover system still needs some work. Climbing around things is a lot more fun this time around, but w/ games like inFamous and Assassins Creed out, expectations where higher then what Uncharted 2 delivered. Among Thieves is a very well balanced game though and enemy AI issues are almost entirely non-existant, multi-player is probably one of the best out there. That being said this game has some literally jaw-dropping moments, I cant say Ive every shot my way through a fire-fight while I was in a building that was colapsing.
Overall (9.9/10): Uncharted 2 is a huge improvement over Drake's Fortune. Its well balanced and much longer then its prequel. It may not be a perfect game, but its as close as 2009 is going to get to having one. This should be game-of-the-year! If you own a PS3 you owe it to yourself to own this game.
