A colourful and creative addition to a well established series.

User Rating: 10 | Uncharted 2: Among Thieves PS3
A good game series gives more to the player, but also supplies the same as before but with more story. Uncharted 2 does exactly that. We have the same characters and the same style of game play, but expanded with different areas and more exotic locations. There is just as much gripping suspense as before, and just as much adrenaline inducing fear from the the main antagonists that make this one of the best games ever played.
The game plays almost like a movie, with exciting cinematics and characters that are being created like in a novel. They are believable realistic people that although are surviving one explosion at a time, they are realistic characters that are reflective of real life; unlike other games where everybody is a soldier who has lost his daughter... yawn.
The guns are better mixed and the difficulty is easy to work with. If you want a fun game and easy playing, you can set it to easy. If you want an excruciating challenge, you can set it on crushing. There are lots of trophies to be earned by doing this, as well as finding the very hidden treasures.
The only criticism is the idea of Drake clumsily falling or a door breaking open gets slightly predictable towards the end of the game, but the way the storyline fans out is really good and has you double guessing and working out who is double bluffing as you play. This game absorbs you in to it and has you hooked from the very start.
The addition of mulitplayer was great too, adding something extra so that you can play with other treasure hunter enthusiasts. To conclude, this is a great game that you will find yourself going back to and playing again. Some games are so bad that you cannot go back and play other games in the sequel, like Fifa; Uncharted allows you to play all three games in the series and enjoy them without thinking that the old games are out of touch with gaming and unplayable.
