Didn't expect to, but I loved it.

Graphics are, yes, unmatched on a console. Environments are lush, detailed, crisp, and enticing. The character models are mostly amazing. A few textures here and there are rough, but nobody is going to notice. Also, a few of the characters have dead or glowy eyes, if that makes sense. You'll have to play to see what I mean. Small complaint, and it's not even really a complaint. Graphics is 10/10.

Gameplay: This is what keeps the game from being perfect. The combat is the best 3rd person shooting out there. Great, fluid, easy to pick up with lots of room to master. Loved it. Stealth aspects are fun, fluid, and easy to use as well. The ledge grabbing hurts the whole product, but I find this a common issue with these kinds of games. A few times I ran into an area where I couldn't tell what part of the environment was "grabbable." Why is this jutting part of the statue's arm grabbable but this other part, which looks exactly the same graphically, is not? So, once in a while you will just have to jump around a room until Nate Drake grabs something you didn't notice. Only happened to me a handful of times, but it was enough to slow the pace of the game and frustrate me once or twice. 9/10

Story: Cliche cheesy action story. Works great here and is told wonderfully with a few chuckles along the way. Characters are brought to life enough to fill in any lameness in certain parts of the story. I liked most of the cast. The big bad guy is a little weak and underdeveloped by the time you get to face off. Not a big deal. The story is really about Drake and his quest and explosions and epic music. 9/10
