Great artwork, and an overall good story. The voice acting ranged from great to terrible, and the dialogue is often poorly written, although still entertaining. Some of the later puzzles reach levels of nonsensical that you wouldn't even imagine with late 90's adventure games, but even the developer has admitted that there were some design mistakes that were made during development.
Overall I'd say it's worth a playthrough if you enjoy adventure games. Despite any problems, you do end up genuinely caring about the characters and the outcome of the story, and almost all of the sections in the game are engaging and interesting.
