I Wanna Take You For a (Broken, Cheap, Spam

Where can I start with this horrid game?

Well, I was very excited about the original MvC3 and the many characters it had. I had one in mind who I really wanted (who shall not be named), but he was never included. I had a lot of fun with that game, well, as much fun as I could get.

Then Ultimate was announced, I was pretty excited. More characters were being added, and I once again had hope for my wanted character. To make a long story short, he was not included. However, eventually, I bought the game anyway.

It had other characters that I did want to use. Such as: Hawkeye, Dr Strange, Iron Fist, Nova, Vergil, and definitely Ghost Rider.

I tried out all of these characters and loved them. Although, Vergil was WAY too easy to use, so I dropped him. Call me weird, but I prefer not to use characters that everyone and their cousins, uncles, and grandparents will use. I even tried out Galactus, which was kind of fun at first, but quickly got old. It was not nearly as fun as using Onslaught from the first MvC.

So, in general, my experience with the game was pretty good. Until I went online. Now, on the original game, I fought people of many different skill levels. It was always so neat to go into a match not knowing what to expect.

This game, however, was not at all like that. It seemed that everyone I ran into tried their hardest to win, at any cost. They would try to use the cheapest tactics to win. Whether that be spamming in the corner with projectiles and their assists, or bombarding me with combo after combo until I died.

You may as well start the match, make a sandwich, and get something to drink. Because it is inevitable that you will stand no chance. I, personally, have not fought anyone that played differently. I practiced for hours with Nova, Iron Fist, Ghost Rider, and I was already really good with Spencer. But it didn't matter.

Capcom said they nerfed X-Factor from what it was in the previous game, but I didn't notice a difference. The only thing different was that you can now X-Factor IN THE AIR! YAY! That's something WE ALL asked for, RIGHT!?

Most people HATE X-Factor! It didn't need to be in the original game, it doesn't need to be in this one. Why would you want to play a fighting game where your opponent can turn on some stupid Level 3 X-Factor and decimate your whole team? Why would you make someone stronger as they are losing? What kind of logic is that?

Many people remember the broken characters: Wolverine, Sentinel, Taskmaster, and above all, Phoenix.

Most of these have been nerfed. Sentinel was nerfed during the original game, and the others during Ultimate. Except, Taskmaster doesn't seem any different. He can still use his same old combos. On top of that, Dr Doom is extremely broken, and he isn't fixed yet. I dont think he will be.

Wesker is broken as all hell, so is Vergil. As I said, Vergil is WAY too easy to use and he can teleport very easily as well. Capcom, why the hell would you bother nerfing the past characters, only to buff the other characters to such an extent, that i'd rather fight Phoenix again? Or an unnerfed Sentinel?

What is the damn point?

And WHY did they nerf characters that didn't NEED to be nerfed? Tron Bonne anyone?

This game requires NO skill whatsoever to be good. None. If you're looking for a challenging fighting game, get Mortal Kombat. I would never get that myself, but it's money better spent, i'll tell you that.

I got rid of my copy of Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, and even if my most wanted character (Mega Man X) were to make it by some miracle, I dont think even THAT could convince me to further support this atrocity. What is the point in playing this game if you really stand no chance but with a handful of characters?

This game is utterly terrible because it is unplayable unless you pick certain characters and use the same tactics everyone else uses. This is such a useless game made by a company that just doesn't give a damn anymore. They'll be damn lucky if I buy another game from them again with their terrible decision making. Capcom, if you're not going to improve, just go under.
