UMVC3 looks pretty good and not much more.

Well,I'll be frank.I feel like this game is broken sometimes.They say it was balanced,but I beg to differ:The game is way too rewarding towards projectile spamming and the likes,to the point comboing look obsolete …Also,the game is all about offense;there's about no defensive maneuvers.Any decent players will catch you in a combo,and there'll practically be nothing you'll be able to do about it…

Outside of balancing issues,the opponent finder isn't very good (for example "same rank" just doesn't seem to work),outside online mode,the game is incredibly barren and empty,with a very weak story mode (even by fighting game standards),lack of tutorial (because I don't consider the Mission mode to be one),and the inability to even play VS.mode alone!Madness!

(This is personal but,the new main menu/victory song also bugs me negatively..)

To it's credit,though,the game looks gorgeous as far as graphics are concerned,the new characters were (mostly) interesting choices (though some key characters,like any Megaman and Venom are still missing…) and the songs are mostly catchy.But the fundamental lacks of this game really dwarfs the good points.


Hopefully,they'd release a patch to at least balance the game a bit more..I'd really want to enjoy this game…

(Oh the new OP is nowhere as badass as the old one)
