Truly amazing and one of my favorite fighting games.
Story: well the only part that's a story is when you first start your career and if you bother to read all of the messages you get (which i don't) so there's really not enough story to rate it. which i am glad because its a fighter and i don't thinks that sports should have a story.
Game play: for some reason even though i do pretty much the same thing every match it never seems to get repetitive and i love it. the kicks and punches look realistic and there are loads of moves to learn. many times during your career you'll have to change your strategy when you fight different people.
Controls: i think that this may be the only time that i think that controls are perfect on a game because there are hundreds of moves and somehow they made room for each one and made the controls work for each of them.
replay value: its a fighter with online multiplayer of coarse theres A LOT of replay value
The verdict: worth buying. i havent played 2010 yet so i dont know how good it is so for right now get this game
