Good start.

I was excited to add something new to my workout routines so I pre-ordered this. I am also a HUGE UFC fan.

My family has the Biggest Loser for the Kinect so I had that to compare to. Plus I have various Martial Arts training (funny how everyone refers to themselves as MMA fighters, but that's a whole different issue), P90X, Insanity, and other workouts throughout the decade experience. (Yes even Tae-Bo)

The plus:
It utilizes real UFC fighters, trainers, and Rachel Leah's voices.
It utilizes "real" MMA moves
It's a workout if you do it (just like ANY workout program that is out there)

The "Not bad":
Kinect does a decent job of recording your movements (I'll point out the downside in the negatives)
Motivational phrases are OK but get pretty repetitive (Biggest Loser has a similar problem, but not as much)
Some motivational phrases are funny (After 45 seconds of arm rotations, the trainer states, "Your heart must be racing now!")

The negatives:
There are some movements in which you can "cheat" on, specifically jumping motions. Sometimes the Kinect loses you causing the game to "pause" or sometimes doesn't record your movements
Some Calorie estimates are really off (2 mins of mitt work burns 103 calories???)

All in all it's not bad and is a good start. If you like UFC, this is a fun "experience" to have.

I gave it a 7 since it is a comparison to other programs I have used, workouts I have experienced, and the overall game experience I have had.
