You get more than just a Champions League game here! Definitely the best game there has been in its franchise.
You get set challenges which makes it different from other football games out there. You are asked for example to transfer an attacker of your choice or you are put into a match losing 1-0 with 30 minutes left. It is your job to swing things round for your team.
I was particularly impressed with the detail the chairman gives you before each game, expressing the other teams weaknesses and where they are strong. This game is all about making it happen for your team in 06-07 having been faced with numerous challenges, setbacks and rewards.
You can build up bonus points and unlock kits, match balls and stadiums etc. and you gain these bonus points by fulfilling objectives set such as playing your reserve defender or playing a certain formation.
There is a lot to this game and it has to be said that it keeps you entertained from dusk till dawn.
The only flaw with this game is that it could have maybe had the option of more control for the player rather than being put into a game in like the 65th minute. However this is a technically sound game to play and has overwhelmed my expectations of what this particular football franchise (Champions League --/--) can do. Thumbs up from me!
