User Rating: 9.1 | UEFA Champions League 2004-2005 PS2
Where do I start, now I thought when I played this it would be the same as fifa 2005 but with different commetators, how wrong was I? Very wrong and you know what I was glad I was wrong because fifa 2005 is a terrible game but uefa champions league is not, it is the same kind of stlye as fifa but the gameplay seems much more easier to master, they have actually made the free kicks harder to score than they were on fifa 2005, you can actually put curl on the ball or drive it on lay it off its totally up you what you do with your set piecies, the corner kicks are also taken different. In uefa champions league you get a fast and thrilling game like you do in the actualy real life champions league. The graphics are the same quality as fifa 2005, The two new commetators add that extra little kick to the game, with Clive Tydsley the champions league commetator GOD, and the God of Gods Andy Gray. No more John Motson and Ally MCcoist, real proper decent commetators they say the stuff they would say in real life, like "the keeper should no chance" I really wanted to hear Andy Gray say if you scored a belter " you beauty, what a hit son, what a hit", that would of been brillant and made my day even more. There is so much to do in uefa champions league you won't get bored of it like I got bored of fifa 2005, there is a season mode on here where u pick a team and the chairman gives you challenges every match for example if you are Arsenal sell Henry and Vieria at first you think hang on he wants me to sell 2 of my best players, but then he asks that u bring in 2 new world class players and on their debut he wants you to get them a rating of 8 to please the fans. Every challenge you pass you get points which you can spend in the shop to get some extra bonuses like blindfold the ref, play with a beach ball and many more I don't want to spoil all of the bonuses. I would recommend this game to all football fans who love the fast action of champions league, brillant game.
