At least try this game
For example, while first looking at the map you may get really excited seeing how large it is compared to the design of the different environments, however you will be really depressed if not a little angry on how small of a portion is actually explorable.
Another would be the revival of old characters from the first which is always good to see unless it's the same annoying characters that were pointless in the first one like your sister. The characters aren't quite as boring as Kevin has stated but the game spends so little time developing them and having them lose importance just when you started to like them.
The main story line of the game is just awful with a terrible start, where you meet what the game suggests to be your most important companions (who all through out the game you only spend a matter of 15 mins seeing) and an ending that just does not match any of the story making you feel like you went through all that effort for nothing. HOWEVER, the games minor stories always sucked me in, such as the story with Reesa and the story in New Ashos.
Anyway I think everyone should at least try this game if you find a deal on it somewhere or a friend lets you borrow it, for at least its minor stories.
