The most remarkable video game engine i have ever experienced in my life. And it was only $1.39

User Rating: 9.5 | Two Worlds II PC
I was on greenmangaming and i picked up two worlds II for only $1.39 not really knowing what it is, i figured i would give it a shot if i ever had the time to do so.. Best dollar i've ever spent in my entire life.

This game is simply breathtaking. The graphics and optimization are near damn perfect. I did not even know it was physically possible for a game with such rich detail to run so smooth. To me graphics does not just mean how the game looks, how well it runs is just as important.

Just running around this game and looking around almost brings a tear to my eye.. It's magnificent. It's a masterpiece. I have never run through such thick vegetation in such a fluid motion. In all my years of gaming i personally award this game as having the best graphics. I know there are better graphics out there as far as realism and stuff but i am talking about from a general standpoint of richness balanced with performance summing up to an unforgettably immersive experience.

Just the amount of work put into this game just really makes me appreciate the finer things in life. But at the same time it makes me sad as well. This game deserves 1000x more attention than it has received from the world and the gaming industry in general. You would think human beings in general would be more independent and less judgmental about things that they are not familiar with.. Why are people so afraid to try things that are non-mainstream? It's like people are blind and only know about games that the media shoves in their faces.. And its not only gamers who are like that, its the game review websites as well.. They will basically give a game a low score because it's not a big name brand.. It should be the opposite. Games with less of a public advantage should be examined more closely.. It seems like these reviewers just see a game from a non-mainstream company and they just pre-judge that the game will be of lesser quality.. If this game was titled SKYRIM and was made by Bethesda it would get a 10/10. It's just not fair.. And on the contrary.. If the game skyrim had a starting price of $9.99 and was made by an unknown game company THAN that game would probably have gotten bad review scores.. It's sad how much general hype and advertising have to do with a games success

I wish people just could experience things themselves and put big name brands and social hype behind them. Like people all were raging at gamespot for giving gta5 a 9.0/10 before it even came out.. So basically people were furious that a game they never played before didnt get a 10/10.. Thats just proof right there that all that is required for high review scores is hype and social acceptance.

Perhaps the earlier versions of two worlds 2 may have had some bugs as i heard other reviewers talking about. But the version i was playing was a very uniform and stable experience. Just standing next to the orc mage and listening as he instructs you about your quest i was stunned in awe. The depth of field paired up with the ambient occlusion and the 1:1 perfect lighting/shadow casting just blew me away. When i finally got outside i was experiencing pure ecstacy from the surrounding environment. Everything is just so gorgeous in this game.

TW2 is massive, you can spend hours just running around looking at the wildlife, birds, glistening sun, thick grass. Man this game is awesome. I wish i had found out about this game earlier. I am surprised this game is not a HUGE thing in mainstream gaming. Even the combat is awesome, i love the sounds and blood effects from each swing.

Definately get this game, it is SO worth it.

I just purchased a sailboat and i sailed an hour to this incredibly dense forest with so much grass and vegetation its mindblowing.. Man this game is something else
