This car-combat game is pretty much terrible in almost every aspect.

User Rating: 2.5 | Twisted Metal III PS
Twisted Metal is a super high action car-combat game at it's finest. Twisted Metal is in history as one of the first PS1 games and was really pretty good. Twisted Metal 2 was amazing and in so many aspects one of the best games ever made. Now we get ready for Twisted Metal 3.

Twisted Metal is probably the worst Twisted Metal yet. And it shows in so many aspects. The character re-disigns are terrible, especially Sweet Tooth's. The menacing evil clown has turned into some wierd candy-loving circus clown that want's to eat all the candy he wants. Rather than enter Twisted metal he could go to Walgreen's or something. The gameplay has changed to clunky controlls that are pretty rough the first time out. There really is no replay value as after completing story mode the endings last about 10 seconds and every wish is really lame. So the only replay value that is truely available is playing as different characters, though you can do this in 2-player mode wich is no more fun than story mode.

Gameplay is terrible and really clunky and you're always crashing and tiping over something as small as a snowman. It's too easy to get cought on ledges. Another thing, the arena's are terribly small and quite blank with not much but teloporters. The game itself is pretty blank and unamusing. After an hour or so all you'll think is, "why did I get this game?". The only upside in the game is that the graphics are an improvment over Twisted 2. But that is the only good part about the game and it's pretty much abysmal.

So unless you like bad car-combat games, you don't want this game at all
