A little too twisted!

Mayhem , is one thing you expect from a twisted metal game . ANd yes you get a lot of it in the new twisted metal , but alas , there is too much mayhem that you loose control or can stratergize. THe single player is just plain horrible , where is is nearly impossible to not become a roasted duck in some time. Multiplayer is still a littl efun , but it could have been so much more. I was wishing this game would focus even more on stratergy and skill , but they have gone two steps back and made it into a mindless mayhem.
The different modes are welcome , but the core gameplay lacks substance.I keep getting hits from all over the place , and it becomes a pure mess.Frustrating.The cutScenes are cool , levels are solid , weapons are good but what is missing is the core gameplay.
.I can enjoy it once in a while , but nothing to get glued to.
