Tropico is just not "a game", it's a lot more: it's a piece of digital art that will make you think about the unfair class differences of capitalism, about the hollow and sad rules created by communist regimes, about the human costs required by military dictatorships.
In the game, you represent the ruler of a fictional caribbean country, and on a daily basis you'll have to face dire decisions: will you build a new Cathedral for the religious faction or will you spend the last few money to increase the paybill of your Generals? Every single decision will dangerously change the balance of power.
Tropico is a social simulation that will stimulate your brain cells, it has funny and still good graphics and a beautiful music score will please your ears.
It sells for about 5 $ on the net but even if Tropico would cost 10 times more, it would still worth every cent.
