The best in the series, and nearly impossible to put down.

I've played every Tropico on the PC (Hmm.. or wait, was there a Tropico 2? Anyway..) and this game is a blast to play. The demo was good, but the actual game is so much better..

The campaign is really enjoyable and long. The missions vary. You get random quests or whatever you want to call them to ship certain goods, make money, etc. You can choose to accept or not accept them, but this makes the game so much better. The maps are large and enjoyable. The disasters are a nice tough and you can click a rebuid option when a building is destroyed so you don't have to remember what used to be there.

The humor on this game is pretty awesome. Each game seems to improve. The commentary is top notch.. Love it..

The graphics are good. I have a 2.2 Duo core on Vista with 4 gigs ram and it runs nice. You can change the settings on a fly which is nice in the game if needed.

The sandbox mode is very nice. The maps are large. The random quests you can choose to accept are an excellent addition as it gives you things to shoot for, or you can do whatever you want.

The new building are nice as well. There are a variety of new buildings that help the game come along.

The only negative is they could of added busses or something, but believe me you'll be addicted even without all this.. The maximum population I believe is 1500 per island. I have huge island and haven't come close to that yet. I might of gone around 1000 or so and it ran well.

I've played all the SIm City games, The Sims, Cities Xl, etc and this game holds it's own style and is a blast to play.
