My fondest memory of this game is playing it in the arcade by Space Mountain in Disneyland. At the time the people movers ride had a short segment where the MPC takes over the ride and throws the park guests into the middle of a light cycle race and, even though it was nothing more than a movie sequence played on four huge screens, it excited me to no end and I raced past Space Mountain and right to the TRON arcade game.

Sadly, I sucked at it and even sadder, I still kind of do today. The light cycle game that is, the rest I'm pretty good at : )

Enough memory lane, this is a review.

Young players won't find much here considering that Disks of Tron wasn't included and there are only four "over quickly" mini games that are played repeatedly at an increasing level of difficulty. That's just how they used to do it in the old days. But for gamers that grew up with and loved Tron, you'll find it as enjoyable as you did when you wore Buster Browns.

There isn't much of a graphical upgrade, which I was surprised by since the game was announced last summer. There was allot of time to jazz it up and that time wasn't used for looks. Also, the right analog stick doesn't simulate the wheel as well as it should.

As it is, it's great to be able to play this game once again. It's the kind of game one can play for 15 minutes or so and have allot of fun with. And it doesn't hurt that you can play turns with another person via xbox live. Now bring on Discs of Tron!!!
