Twisted and fun.

I had heard this game was controversial, and decided to pick it up while it was on sale. After palying awhile, I don't think the reviews do it justice.

1st of all, the gameplay is very unique. You find yourself in a fairly large mansion, being attacked by thieves, knights, archers, etc. You'll have to trick each of them into walking into your traps. They usually chase after you once you get a little distance from them, and once they walk over the trap you have to press a button to trigger it, which will active a short cinematic of them dying or getting injured.

There's quite a few traps to collect, ranging from pots to put over peoples heads so the run around blindly, or huge spike walls to impale your enemies on. My biggest complaint is the lack of blood. After a battle, it will say how you killed each enemy. For example- if you killed them with the pendulum, it will say you decapitated them. Unfortunately, in game, you see no evidence of that. They simply get hit and die.

Also, the translation seems pretty poorly done. Alot of the dialogue doesn't make sense, but this game doesn't really seem like the type you'd play for the dialogue anyway.

Overall, it's fun for awhile, but you might get bored of the same death scenes over and over again. It's nice for a day you need to vent some frustration.
