Following the movie for the most part, Revenge of the Fallen is a solid gaming experience!

So you saw the movie, now enjoy it on your high def console. The combination of its unique melee/gun-slinging game controls and the one button transformation from automobile to auto-bot makes it fun. Turning the movie into a campaign where you travel all over the world is also very interesting. Now the multiple player scenarios can be fun when there are enough people playing on the network. Sometimes its hard to go for the trophies you want when there's nobody else on. You have to remember most people are playing shooter games like "Call of Duty".. Still fun to become a transformer of the past on certain multiplayer games. Worth buying for any fan of the transformers series. I lean toward action/RPG/hack n slash, but playing this one was a nice change of pace from the games I normally run through. Optimus Prime was always a hero of mine. Although I only rated it a 7.5, I turned out better than I had expected. I agree with GameSpot's rating on this one.
