First, didnt know what track mania was. I bought it, and it is soooo FUN!!! here is what i think of it:
STORY: No Story really, You have 3 cars, each for their own environment. The environments are; a stadium, desert, and rally. Each with different unique building blocks for a track. In SOLO mode, you go to each environment and race against the computer player's record on the track. Win to earn coppers and spend them on track pieces, tracks, or skins for your 3 cars. Or in PLATINUM mode, try making it from start, to finish trying to fall off the track as little as possible. Next theirs EDITOR mode. The best part of the game. You are able to create your very own track out of all 3 environments. Unlock peices for your tracks buy spending your coppers on them. Now , The MULTIPLAYER. Not so good... not fun with one or multicard play. Could've done a better job like being able to ride each other's tracks at the same time. All you can play is 1 track in the stadium. (Not even a good one) But the good about multiplayer is that you can send and recieve each others track to play and try to beat their record. Now for the good and bad.
BAD: Lame multiplayer, Cant hit or push your opponets away, Glitches, ALOT of them, track too small somtimes, memory space gets full too fast when constructing a track. cars go a little slower than the pc versions, cars dont really sound like cars, weird/no music, No story...
GOOD: Fun gameplay, easy controls, good costumization, Exellent graphics! (up there with the psp's) good replay value,
CONCLUSION: I really enjoyed this game and i think you will too. You will love driving on your track YOU made with your unique imagination. Awesome game!
