Concept seemed fine but could have been so much more

The concept was interesting to me at first - you have to make different toys and make your toy business thrive. The problem was the lack of variety in game play and the sincere lack of character interaction. The characters themselves looked alright - you had a dog obsessed old lady, two sibling toy workers that inherited their grandfather's shop ( which you play ) , a surfer dude that has a crush on a beach babe, the depressed real estate agent... but after introductions to the characters, nothing happens. Which is a shame... it would have been nice to know more about these characters and actually feel something for them.

But back to the game. It's extremely repetitive. You only have 4 buttons to use to make toys and that's it. For the whole game that's all you really do.

It does not seem worth the buy but if you find yourself with nothing better to do or are multi-tasking, you can leave the game on to auto run making toys for you. It's the type of game your full ( or even half ) attention isn't necessary for.
