The Total War series returns with their best piece of work to date.

The overall game-play is much improved from Napoleon and the other Total Wars in many ways; especially the multiplayer, graphics and bug-reduction. The gaming experience is much more customized in the online and in the campaigns than almost any other war PC game to date. There is a stronger connection between the player and the soldiers that no other PC war game can boast. A great addition to the game-play is the general's skill tree; which is crucial to the game and is on of the best new features in Shogun Total War 2. The fighting its-self looks much cleaner and stream-lined, and the new "hero" units give a sense of prestige to the battles. Though the time period seems to hold back the creativity to a degree and the fact that there are less special units, its overall preformance is too good to pass up. So if the other total war games have threatened your social life, get ready to once again be a loser.
