This is simply the best of the best. A quantum leap over Medieval-2 and an absolute joy to revisit the game that started it all 10 years ago. I could go on about every aspect but will just give a 5 star rating. I have only one negative and it is really a small one but I like a clear battle field. I wish that the army indicator bar at the bottom was only half the height. Good for them that the radar map can be minimized. This game has been worth the wait and so far is a stable as my golden retriever's personality. The interface is more detailed as are the choices for the path of your clan,yet only an hour into the game and it felt like playing the original way back when. Weather plays an important part in the battles as does the fatigue factor. One word of advice for the newcomers- patience. As in all other TW games but more so for this one due to the developed AI, build up your military and domestic base before hitting the road to war. (This opinion is based solely on single player mode since I do not have access to hi-speed Net).
