This game still preserves the goodness that was in the previous Tony Hawk games.

Gameplay: There is alot to say about gameplay. First off I want to talk about the game modes and create a mode. Create a mode is a mode in which you create custom parks, a custom skater, a custom move, a custom graffiti mark, etc. Another mode is game options. It isn't really a mode, but I just wanted to talk about some of the things in here. One thing I really about it was that you could type in cheat codes. The watch movies option isn't really that good. Then theres multiplayer. I won't say much about it exept that there are ten games which include King Of The Hill and Slap! This game still preserves some classic gameplay on classic mode with things like skate letters and the classic two minute time limit. Now finally story mode. There are aren't many stages you go through to beat story mode. If you are an expierienced Tony Hawk vetern, then you sould beat the game somewhere around seven hours or so. In story mode you will have to beat a number of goals to get a set number of points to progress. In every level you will get to play as your custom character, which will increase stats as you comeplete certain stat boost goal ( a list is provided in the on screen menu ), a pro, a guest , a secret character. Guest and secret characters range from guys in casts and wheel chairs, manadors ( the guys with a red clothe that atracts the in the rings), and even Ben Franklin. There are some new moves like focus mode and sticker slap.
Graphics : The graphics are pretty good, but they could be better. The PS2 version has the worse graphics while the PC version has better graphic for the game. Though there are some bugs with the PC version like your custom skater's hair might be invisible. Sound: Not much to say about sound exept that it's nice to have like fifty songs. There is also a menu that you can use to make certain songs repeat or have certain songs not play.
Game mistakes: Some of the things that could of made the game better include new stages, making story mode longer, and a major change. The stages get old soon and story mode could of been longer. If it was then it would kept my attention alot longer. The one thing I hoped for was an extremely original idea for this one game because this game even though it does have new tricks and things like focus mode, It would of been nice to have something new.
Overall it is a good game and you might want to pick it up and at the current price of $12.99 ( used ) at EB games or Game Stop , it's a good buy.
