This was very.. Let’s say, the same as the last one but with bits taken out.

User Rating: 8.3 | Tony Hawk's Underground 2 PS2
This is my opinion on what I think of THUG 2.

To start off with is gameplay, witch is really the same as any other Tony hawk game but this time we have a few more moves like..
Freak out witch can be quite funny at some points of the game but on other parts its just plain annoying. Freak out basically just lets you do moves once fallen off your board. All you do is simply rapidly press the button on screen to make the freak out bar go Higher and the higher the bar goes the funkier the freak out.
Another new gameplay touch is the tagging ability witch is just really putting your art on the wall using one very cool spray can with multiple colours. In some points of the game you may have to tag over someone else’s tag to progress in the game.
Also you can unlock skaters by finding them in story mode, Some characters come with vehicles.. BUT don't get your hopes up because these just handle like giant skateboards with less moves and tricks.
There is more stuff that’s been added on but there not major, like focus mode witch makes the game 100 times easier, letting you go in slow motion to time your skills just right.
In 2 player you have your everyday Tony hawks games and a few new ones
As usual.

The story in this game is all about you and your pro skater friends like jackass member Bam Margera and skating legend Tony hawk going head to head on a World Destruction tour, Bam’s team is called team Bam and Tony’s team is called team hawk and you will have to Destroy and make as much mayhem for your team as possible, The losing team pays for the whole trip! But first they need you.

This takes you to the create a skater mode, so you can make the person who you are going on the Destruction tour with, There are a lot of things to choose from on this but the only let down is the faces you have to choose from, because if you haven’t got a Eyetoy your going to have to stick with the horrible faces on the game, (no offence to who ever them faces belong to.).
A thing I really liked is that they made the face mapping a lot easier to handle. On the create mode, also on create mode you can make your own Tag/Graphic, your own moves/Tricks and your own skate park. The skate park editor I think is a step down from THUG in the earlier series.

Other than story mode you have Classic mode witch is like playing Tony hawk pro skater 3 all over again.

The graphics are very “cartoonish” Like, and in a cutscene the characters Face expressions would seem a little more "exaggerated " than in any other Tony hawk game, It gives the game a little more humor and it actually makes it look better.

The sound is very good and I really enjoyed the voices and pro skater voices. There acting was very good Considering there pro skaters and not voice actors. The music I think is very poor, It really put me off my game when I was trying to concentrate, But don't worry because there is a playlist editor so you can manage what songs you want playing and what you don't want playing.

All in all a good Tony hawk game, not the best but probably the easiest. Once again there is a ton to unlock and if you’re not a BIG skating game fan this will probably change your mind.
