One Of The Best Skateboarding Games
Though there are not many levels each individual level has a lot of area to cover.
An improvement on the PS1 game is that there are now many more interactive qualities, such as you can skitch a ride on the back of cars (one of the more difficult aspects of the game) and that there are people walking around all the different terrains.
It is quite difficult to rack up points, particularly on competition and high scoring modes, so it's worth taking some time to explre each location and set up a path of sort to do during each of these tasks.
The tasks themselves can be completed relatively quickly, but there is a rather steep learning curve as you go on throughout the game, with the 'College' level being completed within an hour or so, but the others taking more than this.
By no means is THPS 4 a difficult game, but it still is a very good skateboarding/extreme sports game, but due to its early release, there are better games than it available (such as Underground)
