Tony Hawk 2x brings back 2 classics from the playstation, 2 classics that are just as good on the xbox.
First I'm going to talk about the gameplay for Tony Hawk's 2x. If you've played one or both of the Tony Hawk games in this game. Then you'll know that those 2 games were very fast-paced and were very fun. The 2 Tony Hawk games are just as fun on the xbox in this version, and those who've played those 2 games will have just as fun this time around. Although, the gameplay from the 2 Tony Hawk games is still great, the graphics have gotten better. All the maps have been re-made and look real good, but the skaters could be a bit better. The game doesn't have any framerate issues and the game won't lag very often. The game has a decent soundtrack and since this game is on the xbox, that mean there are custom soundtracks. The game sounds very simalar to the 2 previous Tony Hawk games which is cool. When you buy this game you'll be getting a game worth every penny you spend on it. You get 2 lenghty single player modes from Tony Hawk's 1 and 2 and you get some extra levels when you're through with those 2 single player modes. Also, there are some new multiplayer maps that weren't found in the original games plus you'll get all the multiplayer maps from the 2 games. The map creater also returns and it is as good as its ever been.
If you've beaten the previous 2 Tony Hawk games, then don't feel afraid to buy this game because its worth beating them again because you'll have just as fun. If you have never tried a Tony Hawk game and think that you should give it a shot, then this game is a good place to start.
