People have trouble playing and using the game's peripheral because they are just not sport oriented. No offense to the non-athletic people out there in the community, in order to play this game, it requires the player to be somewhat knowledgable and physical. People who have real life skateboard experience will have no trouble at all playing this game. On the other hand, people who have never skateboarded in their life or are very clumsy and not athletic at all will probably hate this game. The game is fairly physically demanding, so those that cannot handle the movements will not like the game at all. I will agree that even so, some of the technicals with the board could have used some more time in development for polishing, but overall for this pricetag, it's good enough. Tony Hawk designed this game with desires for people who can skateboard to do so in their livingroom. Sadly, it does not incorporate the people who cannot skateboard to do so. Therefore, the audience to this game is limited to people who are athletic and have a decent balance. Otherwise, you'll want to bash the game and throw it out.
