To all tombraider's fans out there/gamers born in the 80's/90's.. don't even bother playing this 'game'.

Really, why did I buy this game if I already knew how bad it would be?
I am a huge tombraider fan since the first one came out.
The game was a 3d platformer with brilliant puzzles, maps, good story, and unique gameplay.

This tombraider represents what's so dumb at nowadays games: ZERO gameplay and a lot of animations to hide the lack of interaction of the player with the virtual world.

I'm going to review the game in the following categories:

as a Platformer:
this isn't a platformer. you can only jump and go to the places that are meant to be. and the jumps & grabs are totally automatic. you just press X and there goes lara to grab the nearest surface meant to be (not what you really want). it gets to the silly point where you want to jump to a rock or roof war wathever that is accessible and it is just not possible...

Puzzles:
the puzzles are extremely easy to solve and just look intelligent on the outside: that means that you press L2, see what are the objects to interact and randomly use them to watch some intelligent and clever cutscene.

Maps:
they couldn't be more linear. yet the game has a totally dumb button to see where you need to go.

Gameplay:
Shooter. the game is another shooter. yay.

Story:
Normal, not bad. But they managed to change everything that was related to the real Lara Croft. I'm ok with the breasts, but a completly different face? why? and she says Oh god all the time. where is the Gosh? but i'm ok with this.

Graphics:
The game looks amazing and immersive.

Too bad that this was dumbed down to the point of zero gameplay. I think I should stop gaming for once. I remember when completing tomb raider 1,2,3,4 was something to be proud of at school. i'm too old for this nonsense.
