Still worth playing
After the events on what happend at Egypt, Miss Croft was pressumed missing and dead. After a memorial service at her mansion, some of her close friends gathered around and tell stories of her past adventures in which the game takes place. The stories will take you from the streets of Rome to a Russian nuclear submarine. One episode will even take you to a flashback on a young Lara Croft who was just starting on her adventures. The gameplay is still traditional Tomb Raider in which you run,jump,climb etc... while some of the elements have change since the last game. Like for instance the inventory. You start with selected items and weapons, after you beat a level you dont keep the items you have collected. So every story has its own weapons and key items to collect. Another one is the use of stealth on this game, in which is very usefull if you dont have any weapons with you. The puzzles also have been adjusted a little bit so its guaranteed to give players a little use of there brain here.
The graphics have never change since Last Revelation. It still have that dark,quiet athmosphere that you can expect from a Tomb Raider game. The character design are still the same but the levels are very well done, most of them are huge and will take a while to explore. And dont forget the annoying camera angles sometimes. The sound has change a bit since the last game. While the Last Revelation has amazing background musics, this game lacks that element here.
Tomb Raider: Chronicles is still worth getting especially if your a die hard Lara Croft fan. Even though its an old game already, one can still enjoy and have a sensation when playing this game. This is a must have to your Playstation library.
