I my opinion this shooter offers more functionality than for example Medal of Honor or dare I say Metal Gear Solid. The story v action ratio is just about right. Not as long winded as MGS and it makes much more sense than that of Gangs of London. All in all great fun and not too easy. The darkness, which puts many people off can be annoying, but by the second mission, you have adapted, and don't notice it so much anymore. After all thats what you have your night vision goggles for... One weak point may be the number of weapons that are available for you thoughout the game, I think I only counted two guns and a pistol (plus varios grenades and what have you not).
