The last time I played a game with this much stealth action was Metal Gear. Splinter Cell conviction is somewhat catchy if you're in the right mood for it. After being used to games where patience is not the key criteria of the game, it takes a while to adjust to a game like this. At first I was getting bored of waiting but the success to a game like this is not just the game play and the visual/audio quality... but it's the story. If you get into the story, you'll have the patience to play this through.
It's crafted like a sad hero type of movie with a happy ending. I've played through it a second time on the hardest difficulty and it was actually quite easy. Not sure if it's got enough to make me go after those achievements but I think it's worth a play.
The good thing about the campaign is that there's variety in the missions, so thumbs up for that! The Co-op campaign was a nice bonus too. Sam Fisher looks like a well built macho George Clooney!
